SOMATIC SOUND HEALER CERTIFICATION 50HR.

Four modules. From calling to career.

You've felt the pull toward this work for a while.

Maybe you're a yoga teacher, coach or wellness professional who keeps circling back to sound. Maybe you've already done a weekend training and the bowls are still in the box. Maybe you're at the very beginning, wondering whether an interest in sound could ever become work you get paid for.

The distance between feeling called to this and doing it professionally is where most people stop, and it's rarely for lack of talent. Nobody teaches them the rest of it.

This certification teaches the rest of it.

THIS IS NOT ONLY A SOUND HEALING TRAINING.

Knowing how to play a singing bowl is one thing.

Knowing how to create an intentional experience, understand the person in front of you, hold a room with confidence, respond responsibly when emotions arise and turn your skills into a professional offering is something else entirely.

That is why the certification goes beyond sound.

Sound → Soma → Space → Profession.

THIS CERTIFICATION IS FOR YOU IF...

You feel drawn to sound healing but don't yet know how to build it into real, professional work.

Maybe you’re already trained in sound or own instruments, but still don't feel confident facilitating a full experience.

You're a yoga teacher, coach or wellness professional looking to expand what you offer.

You want more than technique. You want to understand the body, hold people responsibly, and build something you can actually sell.

THIS MAY NOT BE YOUR TRAINING IF…

You want to learn the modality but skip the business side. Module 4 isn’t optional here, and if building an offer, a brand and a website isn’t something you’re willing to do, most of what makes this different from a standard sound healing training won’t matter to you.

You need every module in person. Modules 2 and 4 run online by design, so you don't need to travel to Helsinki for those — only for Module 1, Module 3 and graduation.

Modules

Many trainings teach you the modality. This one teaches you how to learn the craft, understand the body, hold the experience and build the profession.

You are not simply buying four weekends. You are moving from “I'm interested in sound healing” to “I know how to create, facilitate and professionally offer this work.”

SOUND — Learn the craft.

SOMA — Understand the body and the person receiving the experience.

SPACE — Learn how to create and hold transformational experiences.

PROFESSION — Turn the work into an offering, a brand and a career.

Soma & Sound Method® Level 1

January 16-17, 2027

The tactile, practical foundation of the certification. You'll work hands-on with crystal singing bowls and Tibetan bowls, gong, chimes, rainstick and other instruments — learning playing technique, sequencing a complete sound journey, pacing and silence, and the somatic elements woven through Soma & Sound Method®.

This weekend is built around practice. You'll play, facilitate and receive feedback directly.

Outcome: I can confidently create and facilitate a professional sound experience.

Schedule: Module 1: Saturday 10:00-17:00 and Sunday 11:00-16:00 in Helsinki.

Somatics. Nervous System & Subtle Body

Feb 6–7, 2027

This is where the certification earns the word Somatic. Underneath technique is the person receiving the experience.

You'll learn practical and deeper somatic foundations: interoception, grounding, orienting, breath, regulation and co-regulation, and how to bring choice and agency into every experience you hold.

You'll build a foundational understanding of the autonomic nervous system, how to recognize activation and overwhelm, and trauma-sensitive facilitation principles: what to do, what not to do, and when something is outside your scope.

The module also opens into subtle-body education: chakras in depth, prana, nadis and energetic anatomy — drawn from yogic philosophy and integrated into sound work, with historical frameworks and modern interpretation clearly distinguished throughout.

Outcome: I understand how to work with sound through the body, with foundational knowledge of somatics, nervous system regulation, subtle-body frameworks and trauma-sensitive facilitation.

Ritual, Intuition & the Art of Facilitation

10-11 April, 2027

Many people can learn to play singing bowls. Far fewer know how to hold a room and create something that lingers with people afterward. This might be the most distinctive part of the certification: learning to hold humans as well as instruments.

You'll work on presence, voice, language, pacing and silence, and on how your words and your sound weave together so one never competes with the other. You'll learn to read a room and let what you notice shape what you play: when to bring the bowls in, when to soften them, and when to let silence do the work. We'll also get into the real stuff: difficult participants, things going sideways, what to do when someone cries in the middle of a sound journey.

A big part of this module is experience architecture, a way of designing an intentional arc for any transformational experience: arrive, open, explore, deepen, integrate, return. You'll learn where sound belongs in that arc, how it can open a space, carry people deeper and bring them gently back. Circle facilitation runs through the whole weekend, including how to use sound to gather a circle and close it. So does the moon: working with lunar cycles as a theme you can return to again and again, and designing your own new and full moon sound ceremonies. Alongside that comes ritual and sensory design, the way light, layout and small details shape what someone feels before the first bowl is struck.

This module is fully in person and hands-on. You'll practise facilitating complete sound experiences with your cohort in the room and receive honest feedback along the way.

Outcome: I can hold a room with presence, read what's happening in it, and design sound experiences people remember long after the last note fades.

Sacred Business & Professional Practice

May 22-23, 2027

Online · Structured as a business studio, not a lecture

Many wellness trainings teach the modality and leave it there — here's your certificate, good luck. This certification doesn't end there.

You'll work on your positioning: what you want to be known for, who you want to serve, and how to talk about your work without exaggerated healing claims. You'll leave with a real signature offer — concept, audience, format, pricing, margins and next steps — because a modality isn't an offer, and "I guess I'll figure out what to sell" isn't the goal here.

You'll also build the foundations of your brand, website and content: homepage, about page, offer page, booking journey, Instagram positioning and a launch plan you can actually use. And you'll learn how career pathways in this work actually open — from private clients and circles to corporate wellness, hotels and hospitality — so you know the full range of what's possible, not only studio sound baths.

This weekend runs like a business studio. You open your website and work on it. You write your offer and work on it. You leave with something real, not a notebook of someday ideas.

Outcome: I have something real to sell and know how to begin bringing it into the world professionally.

MEET EVA ESTLANDER

I’ve been teaching yoga for over 13 years, including several years living and teaching in Mexico. My path here hasn’t been linear, and honestly, I don’t think it was ever meant to be.

Somewhere along the way, sound found me. It changed the way I understood what the body needs to feel safe enough to soften, release and receive.

That understanding became the Soma & Sound Method®, which I’ve spent years developing and sharing with more than 130 students across my sound healing and yoga teacher trainings.

This work has taken me places I never imagined when I first picked up a singing bowl. I’ve created experiences for brands such as Chanel and Vogue Scandinavia, hosted sound journeys at luxury hotels and international retreats, and now bring sound healing to the sea with Crystal Cruises.

This certification is the training I wish had existed when I was starting out. It brings together sound, the body, the nervous system and the practical skills you need to confidently facilitate meaningful experiences and build something real around your work.

BY THE TIME YOU GRADUATE, YOU WON’T ONLY HAVE A CERTIFICATE.

Most trainings end when you receive your certificate. This one doesn’t.

You’ll leave as:

A certified Somatic Sound Healer, trained in the Soma & Sound Method®.

A sound healer who can actually read a room and hold a group, not just play the instruments beautifully.

Trauma-sensitive in how you facilitate, with a real understanding of the nervous system and a clear sense of where your role starts and ends.

Someone who understands somatics well enough to bring it into a session, not just talk about it.

Trained to hold circles, rituals and group experiences, not only one-to-one work.

Ready with your own signature offer, priced and structured, not an idea you’re still saving for someday.

Clear on your brand and what you want to be known for.

Equipped with the foundations of your own website and a social media plan that goes beyond posting more.

You won’t leave with another notebook filled with ideas for someday. You’ll build your actual offering.

✺ Frequently Asked Questions ✺

BUILT ON SOMA & SOUND METHOD®.

The Somatic Sound Healer is created by Eva Estlander, founder of the Soma & Sound Method® — built from her own experience training facilitators, leading retreats and building a professional practice around this work. This certification is the professional education pathway she wishes had existed when she began.

A NOTE ON SCOPE.

This certification trains skilled, confident, responsible facilitators — not somatic therapists, trauma practitioners or medical professionals. You’ll learn trauma-sensitive facilitation principles and where the edges of your role are, so you can hold your work with real integrity and know when to refer someone on.

The Tune In Check-In

You’ve made it all the way down here.

Maybe there’s a reason you’re still reading.

Before you close this page, take a moment to tune out the noise,

the shoulds, the overthinking, and everyone else’s opinions.

What is your inner knowing telling you?

When I’m making a decision that feels meaningful, I like to check in with myself on four different levels:

01. What does my mind say?

What questions do I still have?
Is there something I genuinely need to know before making my decision, or am I looking for certainty before taking a leap?

02. What does my heart say?

Do I feel drawn to this? If I removed the practicalities for a moment, what would I choose?

03. What does my body say?

Imagine saying yes. Do you feel openness, excitement, butterflies? Now imagine saying no. What changes?

04. What does my intuition say?

Underneath the pros and cons, the timing, the logistics and all the thinking...

Do I want to do this?

Tune in. You probably already know.

And if your answer is yes...

Welcome.

I can’t wait to have you there.

Applications are open for the Jan 2027 founding cohort, limited to 12 places. Tell me a little about yourself and where you’d like this work to take you, and I’ll come back to you personally.
